 Pedicure Checklist

-      Check that your client has no infectious or contagious skin or nail disease that would make it unwise to continue with the pedicure.

-      Be Prepared. Have everything you need for the pedicure on hand and layed out.

-      Ensure your hands are comfortably warm.

-      Wash your hands.

Pedicure Procedure

Feet are disinfected and dried. Nail varnish is removed and nails trimmed.

Use your orangewood stick with cottonwool and cuticle remover to push back the transparent cuticle and to clean under the free edge.

Soak the feet in a soapy herbal or flower infusion to reduce fatigue and revitalize the feet. A few drops of essential oil and bath salts are optional extras.

Remove feet from water and apply a foot gommage peel or AHA exfoliator to clean and exfoliate and soften the skin. Rinse and dry feet.

Use an emery foot board/foot rasp/micro-file/callus remover to remove excess skin.

File nails. 

Buff nails and Remove excess and dry cuticles for expert results.

Apply rough skin remover to dry heels, Friction off and use a friction pad on dry rough areas.

Apply a dab of cuticle cream or oil into each nail base and massage gently in circular motion. Gently ease back the cuticles with an orange stick tipped with cottonwool.

Massage for the ultimate feel good foot de-stressor. Feet, toes, ankles and calves are massaged with a soothing and hydrating foot cream/gel/oil. Use the thumbs and palms and knuckles in circular motions. Apply gentle pressure to the reflex points on the soles of the feet. Hot stones are an optional extra.

A warm enzymatic Volcano foot mask is applied to the feet for 10 minutes.

Wipe each toenail with a cotton wool and nail varnish remover to be sure the nail plate is free of oils.

Use toe separators to prevent smudging nail color application.

Apply a clear base top coat, Apply two coats of nail colour, Apply top coat.

Apply quick dry.

Clean and sanitise the foot bath, all your tools and equipment.

 

Foot Massage Procedure

  • Before you massage, check in with the client that they are comfortable. Ask whether the clients want to lie down, recline or sit upright for the massage.
  • Sandwich the foot between your hands and hold for a moment.
  • Apply Cream or Oil and use gentle effleurage (stroking, rhythmic) movement.
  • Use sweeping stokes on legs and feet. Work on lower legs up to the knees.
  • “Open the foot” with stretching movements. Position your hands on both side of the foot with your fingers on the sole and thumbs on the top of the foot. Exert slight pressure with your thumbs to stretch the top of foot and bring the sides toward you.
  • Use criss-cross movements with your thumbs on the sole of the foot from the heel to top of sole.
  • Use outward fanning movement with your thumbs on the sole of foot.
  • Apply circular pressure with your thumbs (acupoints) You can apply a little deeper pressure to ease up tension.
  • Use thumb stroking and knuckle kneading to loosen and ease the foot.
  • Apply stroking to the top of foot following the grooves of the tendons on top of foot. Use your thumbs to alternately stroke in a rhythmical manner.
  • Massage around the ankles. Stroke your fingers around the ankle bone. Right hand fingers on right hand side ankle and left hand fingers on left hand ankles side.
  • Stroking, and circular motion on the toes and stretching of toes feels relaxing.
  • Massage the lower legs, paying particular attention to calves with effleurage and kneading.

    I propose not to hold off until you get big sum of money to order different goods! You should take the loan or just consolidation loans and feel fine
