3.   Men’s Skin Care

Since the invention of the word “metrosexual,” more men have been willing to embrace a skincare regime.  Many salons are including exclusive men’s treatments, or they market their salon as unisex. A masculine atmosphere helps when attracting male clientele. If the environment is feminine French chic, the man may feel he is in the wrong place.  Available at: ©Why Not Men’s Spa

4.   DIY Treatments

The Concept: Some Spas offer D-I-Y treatments where clients can chose their own exfoliants, body mists, body masks and creams to apply. Clients can indulge in a tailor-made hydro-treatment.

The Concept: DIY Couple Mud Rasul ceremony begins with a short cleansing shower. After this, various healing muds are applied to the entire body in different colours and grain sizes to exfoliate and cleanse the skin. The room is then heated and moistened with aromatised vapour. A venetian shower rains warming water from above to cleanse the skin.  Available at: ©Crown spa Hotel

5.   Haute Couture Treatments

From clothes to cosmetic surgery, given the whopping amounts of money that people are willing to spend fighting the effects of aging, it should come as no surprise that haute couture skincare isn't cheap. As the baby boomer generation's youth fades, the revenue generated by anti-aging treatments is on the rise. So what makes these products so expensive? For one thing, many of them are made from expensive ingredients such as crushed pearls, caviar and exotic antioxidants extracted from rare plants like the Chilean evergreen tree. Other popular components are anti-oxidants like grape seed extract, alpha lipoic acid, chamomile oils and green tea-protectants that are said to reduce skin damage from free radicals. Among the most important ingredients are customized cell messenger proteins such as peptides and epidermal growth factor that stimulate cell growth. Ageing is inevitable; however consumers are willing to pay money to delay the effects.

The Concept: Haute Couture Facial - Facials designed for your skins specific requirements. They can be combined or offered as an individual treatment. The ultimate deep cleanse using Micro Glycolic serums which absorb into the skin. Its antibacterial effect helps with the reduction of every day breakouts and on mature skin it softens fine lines and wrinkles with a firming effect.
